Water Quality & Testing

Clean water, independently tested.

Water produced by our manufacturing partner’s atmospheric water generation technology has been independently analyzed by Sucofindo, a third-party testing laboratory.

The tested water passed every measured parameter under the drinking-water standard applied, including testing for bacteria, heavy metals, inorganic compounds, pH, turbidity, and other physical characteristics.

Six Stages of Purification

Eterna systems don't simply collect condensation. Water passes through a multi-stage treatment process before dispensing:

Air Filtration → Sediment → Pre-Carbon → Ultra-Fine Membrane → Post-Carbon → LED-UV

This system is designed to remove particulates and unwanted compounds while UV treatment helps control microbial growth in stored water.

Four-step diagram of how the machine makes drinking water: air intake, condensation on a chilled coil, collection in a sealed tank, then six-stage filtration and purification
Six-stage purification diagram: ambient air enters a washable air filter, then a 5 micron PP sediment cartridge, a 5 micron GAC pre-carbon cartridge, a 0.01 micron ultrafiltration membrane, a 5 micron T33 post-carbon cartridge, and finally LED-UV sterilization, producing drinking water

Filter Specifications

  • Sediment (PP), Pre-Carbon (GAC) and Post-Carbon (T33) cartridges: 5 micron nominal
  • Ultra-Fine Membrane (UF): 0.01 micron pore size
  • LED-UV sterilization: ≥99.99% bacteria reduction, manufacturer rated
  • Dispense rate: 0.4 gallons per minute (1.5 L/min)
  • UV chamber rated capacity: 1.3 gallons per minute (5 L/min)
  • Service intervals: carbon and sediment cartridges every 3–6 months; membrane every 12–18 months

Testing & Transparency

The existing laboratory report was completed in 2021 using an Indonesian national drinking-water standard and applies to our manufacturing partner's atmospheric water technology. It is not a U.S. EPA or NSF certification of Eterna Water systems.

We are pursuing independent U.S. laboratory testing of water produced by Eterna units and will publish those results when available.

Full laboratory documentation is available upon request.
