The Water Crisis
- Modern water access depends on infrastructure that can be disrupted by extreme weather, disasters, and power failures.
- The U.S. Energy Information Administration tracks widespread power interruptions lasting more than five minutes across utilities. In 2024, the average U.S. customer experienced more than 1.5 power interruptions and approximately 11 hours without electricity.
Clean water is fundamental to daily life, yet access to it remains dependent on increasingly strained water and energy infrastructure. Drought, wildfire, extreme weather, and infrastructure failures can turn something as basic as turning on a faucet into a serious vulnerability.
Why Eterna
Eterna was built around a straightforward idea: your access to clean drinking water shouldn't have to depend entirely on a municipal connection, a functioning grid, or a supply chain.
We build atmospheric water systems that make water directly from the moisture in the air, combining reliable purification with solar-powered capability and practical, accessible design.
Better Access Without the Premium.
Atmospheric water technology has traditionally come with a significant price tag. Eterna's goal is to make the technology more accessible without compromising the quality of the system, filtration, or water it produces.
Our Manufacturing Partner
Eterna Water systems are developed to our specifications and manufactured in partnership with Hangzhou Haolin Water Technology Co., Ltd., a dedicated atmospheric water technology manufacturer based in Hangzhou, China.
With nearly two decades of experience in atmospheric water generation, Haolin develops systems ranging from compact residential units to large-scale installations. Each Eterna system is performance tested before shipment, and we independently verify water quality to ensure our systems meet the standards we expect.
Designed with us. Manufactured by a specialist. Tested for Eterna.
Documentation
The units hold a CE Attestation of Conformity and an IEC Low Voltage Directive test report, both issued by an independent testing body, covering electrical and mechanical safety.
Water produced by the technology has been analyzed by an independent laboratory and passed every measured parameter. We publish those results in full, including the methodology and the limitations—see Water Quality & Testing.
All components that contact drinking water are manufactured to national drinking water standards.
